{New Year, New Style}

at least for one shirt...

I pulled a storage bin out from under my bed a couple of days ago, and found some winter clothes I had failed to get out yet! This was exciting because I had really wanted to go shopping, but that wasn't going to happen. And so, in some warm fuzzy way, I still felt like I had. Because these hidden clothes were new to this year.

But some of them were VERY bOrInG.

An idea sparked...
And the spark lit a little flame...
And the flame grew...
And my hands were fueled with creative energy!

(Please forgive the not-so-spectacular pictures I took...)

Collar up close...

Heart on the hip...

And LaLa thought she needed a new shirt as well-

WooHoo!

I Yike it, as my 3 year old would say.

And now, I have a confession. I never knew what Anthropologie was. (GASP). I saw you all talk about it...I heard the love in your voices...And I wondered. So I found it online...

Oh the Joy and Rapture! {Tempered by} Oh the High Prices!

I think I shall attempt to make/embellish some of my own clothes using Anthropologie as inspiration this year. You should also see a hint of it in the baby clothes I sell.

Yes, I think I'm in love...

Dreaming of new clothes,

Megan

You're so talented. We have one of those stores in Kansas City but we haven't been inside yet. Cute stuff but WAY PRICEY. Good for you creating your own. I wish I had had someone like you when I was younger. :) Hope your husband is doing okay.

LOVE IT!!! You never cease to amaze me with your talent and creativity...I am so impressed. I have got to order some of those super cute shirts for my 2 girls!

p.s. I got the blanket you made for Ella in the mail this week. It is so beautiful! She will probably be transferred back to our local hospital next week, because she is doing so well. YAH!!! Thank you so much Megan. You are a dear sweet friend, and I am so glad that I'm getting the chance to know you!

Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love your daughter's name! That's neat that our girls are nearly the same age...and with double names! ;) I love the litte shirt you made for her. I am totally going to check out your ESTY store.

Hi, I came over to visit from Marci's site, All things Wonderful. I love the shirts. I have a little girl about a month older than yours and Marci's. I can't wait to check out your site and see all the things you have!

OH MY GOODNESS!! That is amazing. The same thing happened to me. I thought I had a whole new wardrobe, but no inspiration hit, except adding a great necklace. :) Thanks for the follow. It will be so fun getting to "know" each other through this wonderful blog world. :)
